Oh Yeah This Happened.

After completing Coachella, I had to see if EDC was worth the hype.

Conclusion: Absolutely.

So let's get into it.

Side Note: Regrettably my phone (among many of my friends phones) were stolen this trip so this will be a short post. I am sad to say I can't show you all I expirenced but it was an amazing time nevertheless and the show must go on.

Remember any big event such as this one there are teams of people looking to make a profit on your behalf, so stay sharp and try your best not to apear a target!

If you don't know EDC is basically a ton of DJ's that perform sets at monumental stages and have mind blowing visual. Yes I said and meant mind blowing.

The line up was insane. EDC is only one weekend so be prepared to be jampacked with people but honestly the Las Vegas Speedway is so grand and wide I never once felt claustrophobic.

10/10 recommend but Camp EDC is required, I'll explain, let's start the story.

The trip consisted of myself, my best friend Tony, his cousin Kam and his girlfriend Savannah.

The plan was to fly out of Oakland CA, to LA rent an RV and drive to Vegas where EDC is held. We did exactly that.

Once we arrived in Vegas we met up with some friends who were also attending the event. Since we were there two days early we had time to kill, naturally we found an arcade.

After day 00(double zero) we made it to the pre party, Camp EDC.

Maaaaaaannnnnnn.

Alright time to explain.

So when purchasing tickets to the EDC Las Vegas Festival you have a couple choices. Tickets for just EDC itself, or EDC + Camp EDC.

Camp EDC is an addition to the EDC festival. It is it's own fairground in walking distance to the EDC gates but man it's just as fun as the main thing. Filled with pool parties, shops, food courts, showers, yoga stations I could go on and on basically it's just a very relaxed version of EDC itself.

Camp EDC is open the day before the three days of EDC and the day after, when I say worth it I mean worth it. When staying at camp EDC you can either bring an RV or rent a tent provided by EDC.

I would only recommend an RV beause our friends that chose the tent option regretted it due to the size and heat conditions of said tent, for me the RV was perfect.

This being said I found out EDC is hosting their version of Airbnbs on the fairgrounds as well. Imagine you get to go inside your room do laundry etc, and when you open your front door your in Camp EDC genius marketing if you ask me.

The rest of the blog will be a series of photos and videos of what I had on my iCloud due to my phone being stolen. Again do your best to minimize consequences, next time my phones staying in the RV you don't need it at all for the event.

Have fun and good luck!
