Okay, storytime.
I was working a photo shoot at an art gallery in Berkley, CA when I met a cool dude who was helping with the venue. We networked and went about our business, fast forward two months later.
Jay was hosting the 89.9 radio station in Hayward, CA, and was looking for his first guest, so he hit me up.
It goes to show what being friendly at the right place, at the right time does.
I was equally parts excited and nervous. Excited because I love connecting to communities about the passions I practice hence why I built my own podcast. Nervous because, unlike podcasts that you edit, radio is live, and if you freeze or accidentally cuss it doesn't look great on your behalf.
Nevertheless, I wasn't going to let anything stop me from sharing ideals and creating exposure, you never know who's listening.
It was all coming together until..
It was regrettable however when things are out of your control don't stress, the best thing you can do is have a positive attitude and be prepared.
All in all, this was my favorite moment of the whole morning.
The moral of the story make friends believe in yourself and don't panic when things go astray, everything happens for a reason.
