{Song for Post: Child of God by Chance the Rapper}

It was right around the end of March 2022 when I received a life-changing email in my inbox folder, the rest is history.

I was bartending in San Ramon, California at the time, working on expanding my professional portfolio as much as I could. I was obtaining work here and there but, was strategizing on how I could step up to the next level in the media industry, then God moved a chess piece.

One day I was on LinkedIn causally applying for media assistance positions and part-time photography jobs when a private company reached out to me about the coolest job ever. This private company works with sports and tech companies to provide content for sale. They've had the opportunity to represent amazing institutions such as Salesforce, Bon Appetit, and of course the San Francisco Giants.

What was truly shocking to me was that I didn't even apply for this position it came to me, some call that recruitment I call that grace and love from God. The opportunity was amazing, come to San Francisco and capture real moments with fans.

Are you ******* kidding me?

Leave my current job, run around in the city, feel the energy and fun from baseball games and contribute by using my skills with a camera, yeah I'm sold.

So I accepted.

"Do your thing Child"
"I remember when it said AT&T Park"
"Read that and Repeat"
"Best. Slide. Ever."

The job was even better than I imagined.

On some shifts, I could walk around freely engaging with fans and taking their pictures, other times I would be stationed to cover certain angels and moments with team members.

"First Station"
"First Day"
"This is my Job?"
"This is Your Job."
"Gum"
"Chewer"
"Joc I want a peiece"

My favorite place to be in the entire stadium was tough to decide. The suites made me eager to have my own one day, however, nose-bleeds carry the most loyal fans.

I landed on a middle ground of both.

"415 Club"

The 415 Club was everything I wanted and more. Great fans, DJ booths, and player practices but it all summed up to one thing, the view.

"This is Baseball"
"Child of God"

I couldn't tell you how much fun I had in my first season. I met a lot of incredible people, learned a ton more about the art of photography, and was able to add a major league baseball team to my portfolio, God is Love.

Until next year we'll see what comes my way, however, I need to let anyone who feels like there are obstacles in their path they can't overcome know, that you can.

Perhaps you feel underqualified just know so did I. Now I can't and won't allow anything to stop me from achieving anything I please.

You can do it, focus set a goal, and take one step at a time to win.

I believe in you, and so does He.
